Eject... Reject...
I hate the feeling of being rejected. It's like pushing me away like a clinging dog. Rejection is a negative feedback of something you are hopeful for, and the rejection will come from someone that disagree to what you are hoping for. It could be of who you are as a person, or it could be the work that you have done, and things like that.
But you know, the intensity of hurt from a rejection depends on the effort that you put into what has been rejected. Like for instance, you have done your best and tried everything you can to make a project in one of your subjects in school, you have researched well, did strategic interviews, and swallowed hardships while doing it, and it return... your project has been rejected by your teacher or a professor. Isn't that upsetting?
You are very hopeful and all arms open for great opportunities, then all of a sudden, because of rejection, your world will be filled with dark clouds in a crowded sky, and in any minute, these furious clouds will soon strike a terrible lightning that will make people scream out horrifically. A tremendous build up of rain that will pour over the roofs and soon create a huge flood, and these terrifying scenes just goes on and on until we find calmness. And I know you don't want me to go over that. It was just so disappointing and sometimes you feel like you want to quit, because you realized that not everybody likes you nor your work... and as much as we don't want to hear the truth, we have to listen and accept it. We always want people to like us. and even though we know that we can't please everybody, we still want people to appreciate us. And the more we care of how people perceive us, the more likely that we get hurt.
So, never hope for something that is not achievable, yet be hopeful for something within your reach. And despite all the perseverance and patience, and you're still rejected... you better sit down and think, that perhaps there are more things that God has planned for you. You just have to search for it.
